Biography
Larry Young graduated from Miami University in 1965 with a degree in education. After teaching for a few years in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, Young returned to Miami in 1968 to obtain his master’s degree, which he completed in 1974. From 1970 to 1980, he worked as the Director of the Educational Opportunity Office— he then became the Director of the Office of Minority Student Affairs in 1980, a position he worked in until 1982.
